Self-directed Pilates based movement

You would like to try equipment Pilates, but you would like to do it at your convenient time.

You were given a home exercise program, but you are not good at doing it at home.

You want to do some strengthening exercise at a quiet environment.

The studio is almost all yours.* Practise Pilates based functional movement at your own pace.

*A physio might be using the space with their patient at the same time as your booking time.

How it works

1. Book for a 50-minute private Pilates appointment. You and I will create a program for your needs. It can be purely Pilates or a mix of Pilates, research-based rehab movement and self-care from Japanese integrative physio and

bodyworkers.

Please bring your exercise sheets if you have been given any exercise programs from your physiotherapist or exercise physiologist in the past.

2. Arrange a time to come to the studio and do your program during your booking time which is up to 45 minutes.

3. Rebook for a half-hour (or a 50-minute) private Pilates appointment when you are not sure whether you are doing your program right, or whenever you would like to update your program, approximately every 6-8 weeks. If you would like to stick to your original program for a long while, that is totally okay.

FAQs

1. I have never done equipment Pilates.
No problem at all. I only introduce equipment Pilates exercises and other functional movement exercises that you can safely do on your own.

2. Can I get changed at your studio?

Yes. There is a bathroom with a plenty of space. No shower facility.

3. Can I do my exercise without sweating before going to work in the morning?

Sure. Bring your work clothes (and breakfast), finish your non-sweaty program, and get ready for work.

4. Can I come with a friend of mine/family member and do exercise at the same time?

Yes. Each of you will need a 50-minute private Pilates appointment first before you and your friend/family member start your self-directed Pilates together.

5. Can I bring my children with me?
Yes, as long as they do not damage any equipment and glass windows, and also you keep the studio clean.

6. What if I am late to my booking time?

It is okay to arrive late, however, please finish within your allocated time.

7. Cancellation policy

Cancellations made with less than 3 hours' notice will result in a charge of the full session rate ($11). It also applies to no-shows.
